Dr.
Gordon graduated from dental school in 1978, fulfilling a
childhood dream of wanting to become a dentist. Since
graduation, he has practiced in the Northland of the greater
Kansas City area. He is very passionate about dentistry, loves
changing smiles therefore changing peoples lives.
Changing peoples lives through cosmetic and complete dentistry
is the greatest gift Dr. Gordon can give people. In return, it
gives him great satisfaction when a patient upon completion of
their cosmetic case turns to him with a hug, or a handshake, and
their beaming new smile to say "Thank You- I can't believe how
great I look and feel!"
Dedicated to personal and professional growth, Dr. Gordon averages more than 125 hours of advanced dental continuing education per year, to keep himself on the leading edge.
He has also studied under the "Masters in Cosmetic and Advanced" general dentistry. Dr. Gordon's expertise, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience in cosmetic and complete dentistry, can give you that dream smile you deserve, and have always wanted. Dr. Philip J. Gordon
Dr.
Philip Gordon was born and raised in the Kansas City Northland
area where he also attended Oak Park High School while growing
up. After high school he attended the University of Missouri at
Columbia for four years where he earned his degree in
Nutritional Sciences. Upon completion of his undergraduate
degree, Dr. Gordon then began his dental training where he
graduated from UMKC Dental School in May of 2009. After
graduating dental school Dr. Philip Gordon joined the practice
of his father, Dr. John Gordon, and has been working with our
great staff since.
Dr. Gordon wants to establish great relationships with his
patients and give them the best dentistry that is available
today. We believe that we are working on more than just teeth
here, we take care of people and treat them the way they deserve
to be treated. Our commitment to excellence and service is what
makes our office the best place for you.
CJ
CJ
graduated from
Commercial Art School in 1986. She continued her education and
graduated as a Certified and Registered Dental
Assistant in 1993. She expanded her knowledge of the technical
processes of dentistry while working with a software development
firm, and has trained offices throughout the United States.
CJ's love for Art has given her a unique perspective on the
performance and artistry of Dr. Gordon. With her aptitude
for learning and drive to be the best, she is committed to
bringing you the finest possible service.

Susie
Susie
has joined the practice as a treatment and financial
coordinator. She started her career in dentistry as a
chair-side assistant and, over the years, has moved into roles
in management.
Susie and her husband, Mark, have five children so, needless to
say, she is a very busy gal. With her wide range of dental
experience, you may see her in several roles here in the office.
Kelley
Kelley
has made a few moves before making it her to Kansas City.
She is originally from Ohio, where she received her degree in
English from Wright State University. Before moving to
Kansas City with her family, she lived in Bowling Green,
Kentucky. She is the proud mother of a four year old,
Jacob, and spends most of her free time with him and her
husband, Steve.
Kelley is the first person you will see when you
walk in the office and is always ready to greet you with a smile
and make sure that you feel welcome. She will be taking
you on a tour of the office on your first visit and will make
sure you feel at ease about your appointment.

Mary Gordon
Mary is Dr. Gordon's "Concierge".
She greets all patients ("guests") and assists in
beginning the "Five Star" experience. Being in dentistry over 20
years, has given her the experience and the confidence to relate
with people and help them through their dental journey.
Being a part of a practice that performs a
lot of Cosmetic Dentistry gives her a great sense of pride and
excitement. "What a thrill it is to see people to leave with a
dazzling smile and a new bounce in their step" says Mary. It
offers her great rewards each and every day. Mary invites you to
call and reserve a time to begin your journey.
Carol
Carol
was born and raised in Northern Missouri. She has lived in
the Kansas City area for many years. She has been in
dentistry for over 20 years. During that time, Carol has
had experience in several dental specialties including
prosthodontics and periodontics.
Carol finds cosmetic dentistry to be both fun and rewarding
Sharing the experience with patients as they get their "New
Smile" is exciting each and every time. She looks forward
to meeting you.
Jena
Jena
is from Liberty, Missouri and graduated from Liberty High School
in 2006. She then went to Concorde Career College and
received her certificate in Dental Assisting in 2007.
Jena spent one year assisting Dr. John Gordon,
and is now Dr. Philip Gordon's chair-side dental assistant.
Jena enjoys being a part of "Team Gordon." She
feels she has been given a great opportunity to work with a unique,
caring and highly-professional team.
Brenda
Brenda
worked for Dr. Gordon for 3 1/2 years. She then left to
spend time with her children before they entered college.
Brenda recently returned to the practice, and is
glad to be a part of a great dental team that provides the best
possible service and care to patients.
She looks forward to helping patients and making
them feel comfortable with their smile decisions.
Jill
Jill
is originally from Albert City, a small town in the northwest
corner of Iowa. She graduated from the University of South
Dakota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Currently,
she lives in Savannah, MO.
Jill absolutely loves establishing relationships and
connections with each patient that she takes care of. It is very
important to her that each patient feel as comfortable as
possible the second they step into our office. At Dr. Gordon’s
office, both personal and professional growth is encouraged and
personally rewarding for her. With such an awesome sense of
teamwork established within this office, the atmosphere is
always energetic and friendly.
Michelle
Michelle is
a graduate from
the University of Kansas City School of Dentistry. She
received her BS degree in Dental Hygiene at the age of 21 and
has practiced in the Kansas City area since that time. She
stays active in the American Dental Hygienist Association and
has served two consecutive terms as president in her local
component.
Michelle loves to work one on one with her patients,
helping them achieve the smile of their dreams. She says,
"Helping others is the reason we are all here and I receive so
much fulfillment in doing that. I look at each patient as
an individual with different needs and concerns.
It is challenging and rewarding to create a dental plan that is
unique to each individual, seeing it through, and then
celebrating the joy that new smile has
brought to the patient's life. I have a remarkable job that I love."
Outside the office, Michelle's favorite thing to do is spend
time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, working
out, volunteering in her community and reading for personal
development.
Gwen
Gwen is a Registered Dental Hygienist who hails from Corpus Christi, the "sparkling
city by the sea." She has her degree in Dental Hygiene
from Coastal Bend College in South Texas. She began her
career with a general dentistry practice in Texas; moved abroad
and joined a periodontal office in Zurich, Switzerland; and has
practiced in Kansas City since 1985.
Gwen is an active member in the Greater Kansas City Dental
Hygiene Association, and in the International Association of
Orofacial Myologists (she is trained to treat patients with
tongue thrust or incorrect swallow, and children with
thumb-sucking habits).
Being part of Dr. Gordon's professional team helping patients
achieve the confidence that goes along with a beautiful smile is
what motivates Gwen. A positive attitude is her hallmark.
